My McSongs
You probably don't know, but I'm also a songwriter. At least I wrote eight not-so-horrible songs. It won't be interesting for you, but I'm posting them here.
Home of the Lost and the Broken
I'm gone - again on the run / And once more I hide from the sun
You weren't there - don't you deny / You didn't see the tears I cry
Fallen from grace / Can't find no more space
Can't win no more race / Lost without a trace
Where is my place / To call home
So beautiful - so lost and so wild / In freedom - once more like a child
Alone again - 'cuz you weren't there / Feeling the pain - here and everywhere
Fallen from grace / Can't find no more space
Can't win no more race / Lost without a trace
Where is my place / To call home
Here again - once more lost and broken / No more words - that have to be spoken
Finally found - you're all the same / For trusting you it's me to blame
Fallen from grace / Can't find no more space
Can't win no more race / Lost without a trace
Where is my place / To call home
Can you see them crawling in the night / Looking for a place - crying for the light
Can you hear them - the words left unspoken / My home - the Home of the Lost and the Broken
Fallen from grace / Can't find no more space
Can't win no more race / Lost without a trace
Where is my place / To call home
Where is my place...
I'm really proud of that one. Personally, I think it's my best one. Of course, you can't hear it, so it probably doesn't sound especially extraordinary to you. But it's very emotional and personal. I totally adore it. Yes, I am an arrogant piece of shit. Who cares. I love all the stuff I've done. Keeps me alive.

I just decided I'd also use this place to ramble about songs that I love but have not written, too. Just for the sake of it.
Green Day - Boulevard of Broken Dreams
I have heard that song so many times I should be more than tired of it, yet every single time it pulls me in and makes me feel gloriously understood and alive for a few minutes and then spits me out a mess. Is that weird? Anyway, I always enjoy it a whole fucking lot. It's just so powerful, don't you agree? Everything about it, starting with the lyrics, passing Billie Joe's voice, via the breathtaking music and ending with the feeling it evokes in me.
Green Day - Wake me up when September ends
I honestly think I mostly like it, because of the line with the rain. Hm... Anway, it's a fact that those who make the wildest music write the best ballads. This one's only one of many to prove that.
Green Day - Good Riddance (Time of my Life)
That song is very important to me, for it is my Rome song - I kept listening to it while I was in a bus making it's way through the amazing city that is Rome - and also the song of the little guy in ER, who died. Dunno, that sorta touched me and I absolutely adored it. I'm still sorta obsessed with it. Maybe it's the death aspect in it? Probably. Anyway, it's awesome and will always have a special place in my heart.
too tired to continue... maybe later or some other day...
